What you’ll be doing:
Working in an agile way means you’ll take charge early on, absorb new experiences, and positively influence our work—making an impact on our customers’ lives. We’ll utilise your skills where they are most needed and give you opportunities to expand your expertise. You’ll join one of our tribes (home, motor, pet, travel, etc.) and focus on a key area of pricing within your squad.
- Lead the delivery of pricing & underwriting outcomes within your domain (trading, optimisation, risk pricing, etc.) to help your squad achieve its goals.
- Support decision-making aligned with commercial, customer, and strategic objectives.
- Improve DLG’s pricing performance and long-term capability while maintaining discipline.
- Use your technical and analytical skills to influence your team and the wider chapter, developing innovative solutions to challenging problems.
- Engage with the wider Pricing & Underwriting community to shape objectives and priorities.
- Support colleagues’ work and development to enhance overall squad capability.
- Lead relevant pricing and chapter projects as needed.
What we are looking for:
- Previous pricing experience within an insurance role and the ability to adapt in a changing environment.
- Technical experience in areas such as trading, modelling, optimisation, risk modelling, etc.
- Proficiency with software & tools like Radar, Emblem, SAS, SQL, Python.
- Curiosity, collaboration, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to positively influence stakeholders.
