Job Description:

Our client is a leading commercial insurer with a strong foothold in the UK market, offering a breadth of tailored solutions to their well-established client base across the country. They are backed by a long-standing reputation for their products and service, and supported by a wealth of technical and support resources.

They are actively seeking a Pricing Manager for a significant line of business in the Mid-Market Commercial Lines space. This role will oversee a team of six direct reports, work closely with underwriters and senior stakeholders, and strive to ensure the competitiveness of their Property Line pricing strategies. The Pricing Manager will report to the Head of Pricing and the wider business leadership team.

They are placing a strong emphasis on finding the right cultural fit: someone ambitious who wants to progress and assume more responsibility, while driving positivity and collaboration within their team and supporting the company's ambitious plans for further, long-term growth.

Key Credentials:

1. Qualified Actuary through the IFoA, or equivalent.
2. 7-12 years of relevant experience.
3. Strong knowledge of Pricing, ideally in Commercial Property Lines, but open to other technical backgrounds.
4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
5. Appetite to lead a team, with prior experience in management strongly beneficial.
