Reporting directly to the CEO, we are looking for an experienced Pricing Manager to join the team at Beauty Bay.

The successful candidate will be the first person to join as a Senior Pricing Advisor, so this role is unique and perfectly positioned for someone who can work closely with senior stakeholders to develop and optimize pricing models that balance profitability, competitiveness, and customer growth.

As Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective pricing strategies align with our business goals. You will play a critical role in ensuring our products are competitively priced while maximizing profitability. You will be part of product management team and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance, to gather insights and data that inform pricing decisions. Your ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations will be key to your success in this role. Additionally, you will monitor market conditions, competitor pricing, and customer feedback to continuously refine our pricing strategies. Responsibilities

  • Developing a pricing structure linked to brand guidelines
  • Ensure pricing meets margin guidelines
  • Create pricing architecture for bundles and gifting
  • Ensuring taxes and duties are set up correctly by country
  • Foreign exchange management/optimisation of international pricing

Aligning Business Strategy & Pricing

  • Identify opportunities for pricing optimization, revenue growth and increased contribution
  • Analysing competitor landscape, competitor pricing, and customer behaviour to inform pricing decisions
  • Monitor & evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability, adjusting as needed
  • Analysing sales and stock to determine how pricing can support sales demand of fast and slow-moving stock
  • Understand price elasticity and use this to predict demand
  • Creating specific pricing strategies based on territory
  • Ensure discounting and promotional activity is planned and optimised

Analysis & Reporting

  • Develop guardrails for the business to follow (e.g. floor margins, discounting approach, brand inclusions & exclusions)
  • Conduct pricing and margin checks
  • Support future buys with pricing insight to avoid buying into product that only sells at high discount.
  • Build reporting for business wide understanding and visibility of pricing and its impact
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior management to help influence short and long-term decisions.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of pricing tools, processes, and governance

About you

  • Naturally curious, analytical, and commercially driven with a strong background in pricing analytics. Experience in a similar, hands-on pricing role in a retail environment is preferred
  • Deep understanding of pricing, promotional effectiveness, and retail trading
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software and great attention to detail
  • Experience in market research and competitive analysis
  • Able to present a reliable ‘story’ using data and insights
  • Confident working cross-functionally
  • Highly organised and able manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
