Job summary

Star Actuarial, on behalf of a major London Market insurer, is seeking a part-qualified or qualified GI actuary with pricing experience to strengthen its expanding pricing team.

The role covers diverse streams including product design, underwriting, industry advisory, data work and pricing modelling, with SQL essential and Python a bonus; prior reserving experience moving into pricing is welcome.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or qualified GI actuary with pricing experience.
• London Market pricing experience preferred.
• SQL knowledge required; Python helpful.
• Reserving background with pricing exposure considered.

Responsibilities

• Support diverse workstreams: product design, underwriting, industry advisory, data work and pricing modelling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing solutions.
• Apply SQL to pricing data; Python experience is a plus.
