We’re seeking someone to join our Pricing team, to assist with the performance analysis and recommendation of pricing and underwriting changes to products across Property, Casualty and Motor areas.

You’ll have a passion for analysing data, utilising this to drive through pricing and underwriting changes to support strategic plans. You’ll ensure that opportunities for development in this rapidly changing and developing SME marketplace are maximised.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and deliver pricing and underwriting reviews for the profitable development of our auto-rated product range.
  • Monitor, analyse and produce regular product performance reports, with recommendations, summaries and analysis including identification of trends.
  • Review question sets, underwriting criteria and rating structures of open market, direct and software house products, and produce recommendations for implementation.
  • Integrate key internal and external competitor monitoring data and other externally produced risk data with our pricing strategies and structures.
  • Maintain suitable governance documentation of rate tables, rate structures, algorithms and price changes, so the appropriate approval process is undertaken.
  • Recommend pro-active product development changes in consultation with other relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist with the audit of external software house and broker systems ensuring that they meet all required underwriting and compliance standards.

Due to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we’re able to effectively manage interest. Therefore, if you’re interested in joining us at AXA, please don’t hesitate to apply.

  • Experience of producing detailed analyses from a variety of data sources, across a wide range of factors affecting product performance – essential
  • Python, SAS, Radar, DataBricks, Power BI skills - advantage.
  • Effective decision making skills.
