Job summary

Apollo, a Skyward Group company, is seeking a Pricing Actuary to join our Pricing Development & Standards team. This role blends actuarial technicality with stakeholder influence to strengthen pricing governance and underwriting performance across Lloyd's partnerships.

You will work with underwriting, data, and IT teams to support pricing requirements, develop governance frameworks, and mentor junior colleagues as part of a centre of excellence.

Qualifications

• Qualified actuary or equivalent.
• Significant pricing experience within the Lloyd's or London Market.
• Good understanding of pricing methodologies across multiple classes of insurance.
• Experience with pricing governance, oversight and BI/MI reporting.
• Understanding Lloyd's pricing principles and regulatory expectations.
• Experience producing pricing management information and performance metrics.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Collaborative mindset with mentoring interest.

Responsibilities

• Support pricing oversight activities across Apollo's partnership syndicates.
• Conduct oversight reviews of pricing activities and provide recommendations.
• Develop pricing governance frameworks and best practices.
• Promote consistent pricing approaches and governance processes.
• Produce and enhance pricing management information and indicators.
• Support delegated underwriting pricing reviews during renewals.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Exposure Management, Data and IT teams.
• Contribute to pricing model maintenance and development.
• Mentor junior colleagues and help grow the team center of excellence.
