Job summary

Pacific Life Re is seeking a technically confident actuary to join the Divisional Pricing team in London. You will support pricing across lines of business and regions, challenging assumptions and contributing to pricing governance under VP Pricing.

You will work with actuaries, underwriters, data scientists and senior management on diverse data sources and pricing methodologies to drive consistent, robust pricing across markets.

Qualifications

• Qualified Actuary with pricing experience and strong technical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a small, dynamic team.
• Keen interest in statistical methods and data-driven pricing.
• Willingness to learn and apply Tableau, SQL and R in pricing contexts.

Responsibilities

• Review front line pricing on large and non-standard quotes.
• Conduct deep dives to validate pricing assumptions and methodologies.
• Monitor and report enterprise pricing metrics at product family and PL Re levels.
• Collaborate on division-wide pricing methodologies and global initiatives.
