Job summary

The Actuary in London is seeking an analytically minded actuary to shape pricing strategy across a diverse portfolio. You will develop pricing tools, deliver pricing analysis for large and complex risks, and provide portfolio insights that support commercial decision‑making.

You’ll also contribute to management reporting, data visualisation, and the ongoing evolution of actuarial capabilities. Strong Python and Excel skills are essential; Power BI, SQL, VBA or modern pricing platforms are

Qualifications

• Analytically minded actuary progressing through actuarial exams or recently qualified.
• Comfortable working independently and solving complex problems.
• Able to communicate technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Strong Python and Excel skills; experience with BI/SQL/VBA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Shape pricing strategy across a diverse portfolio.
• Develop and enhance pricing tools and deliver analyses for large/complex risks.
• Provide portfolio insights to support commercial decision-making.
• Contribute to management reporting, data visualisation, and actuarial capability evolution.
• Assist with transformation projects (HX) within the team.
