Job summary

The AA is recruiting a Volkswagen Dedicated Technician to deliver prestige roadside support for VW vehicles. You’ll use manufacturer diagnostics and represent two respected brands while ensuring customers move with confidence.

This field-based role offers a base salary of £38,270 with realistic OTE of £50,000+, plus 23 days holiday, a van, fuel, uniform, boots and breakdown cover from day one. 40 h/w with a 7am–8pm window and standby options.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Confident, independent, and customer focused.
• Holds a full UK Cat B licence (max 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Provide prestige roadside support for Volkswagen vehicles using manufacturer tools.
• Own the customer experience from arrival to repair completion.
• Combine technical skill with clear communication to ensure satisfaction.
• Handle warranty work, roadside diagnostics, and advanced repairs.
• Begin and end days with a VWG van, tools, and uniform at home.
• Work 40 hours/week with a 7am–8pm shift range and standby hours.
