Job summary

Silverstone Circuits Limited seeks a Vehicle Technician to join the Drive team, working in a fast-paced workshop at Silverstone. You will maintain and prepare a fleet of high-performance cars, ensuring safety, performance and presentation standards are met.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Engineering, a clean UK driving licence, and a flexible, ambitious approach. Welding/fabrication skills are a plus, with opportunities to contribute to exciting track experiences.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Engineering required or equivalent.
• Prestige or sports cars experience preferred.
• Clean UK driving licence required.
• Flexible and dedicated mindset.
• Welding and fabrication experience is desirable.
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills expected.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles according to schedules and plans.
• Prepare vehicles to technical and presentational standards and support budget targets.
• Ensure workshop and bay standards meet health and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with team to achieve departmental aims.
• Accurately use workshop stores and inventory management.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, diagnose faults, perform repairs, and interact with customers.
• Support Workshop Manager and Lead Technician with additional duties as needed.
