Job summary

Cadillac Formula 1 Team at Silverstone invites applications for a Test Technician to perform tests on vehicle systems and components, ensuring performance and safety standards are met. You will support setup, calibration and data collection, working closely with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues.

The role requires an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a technical discipline and prior testing/validation experience within motorsport or automotive environments.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline.
  • Previous experience in a testing/validation/technical support role within motorsport or automotive.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed testing and validation on vehicle systems, components, and assemblies, recording results accurately.
  • Ensure testing activities comply with quality standards, safety regulations and procedures.
  • Assist with setup, calibration, and maintenance of test equipment for accurate data collection.
  • Collaborate with engineering to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
  • Contribute to development and improvement of testing methods and procedures for efficiency and reliability.
