Job summary

Talent Connect Group is seeking a skilled Classic Car Technician in Weston-super-Mare to join a specialist restoration and repair business. You will work across mechanical, body, preparation, paint and finishing disciplines on classic and prestige vehicles, delivering high-quality workmanship.

The role involves removing and refitting components, preparing surfaces for paint, applying primers and top coats, polishing and detailing to meet exacting standards.

Qualifications

• Experience working on classic, prestige or restoration vehicles.
• Strong eye for detail and pride in workmanship.
• Background across stages of a vehicle repair and restoration project; not restricted to one area.
• Background in body repair, preparation and paint alongside mechanical and trim knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Remove and refit mechanical components, body parts and trim.
• Prepare vehicles and components for paint.
• Carrying out body shaping and panel preparation.
• Apply primers and prepare surfaces for top coats.
• Apply paint top coats and lacquer to a high standard.
• Polishing, finishing and detailing work.
• Ensure completed vehicles meet quality and presentation standards.
• Work carefully and accurately to achieve a high-quality finish on specialist vehicles.
