Job summary

Euro Projects Recruitment seeks a Classic Car Technician in Leicestershire to work on hydraulic components for prestigious classic and luxury cars. Salary is typically £35,000–£40,000, depending on experience.

The role requires an automotive or engineering qualification and a meticulous, safety-conscious approach. You will rebuild, test and provide technical support while maintaining equipment and documentation.

Qualifications

• A relevant automotive or engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, IMI or equivalent).
• Experience with prestige or luxury marques would be advantageous.
• High attention to detail with a methodical, structured approach and confidence working to high standards.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Strip, clean, inspect, measure, rebuild and test hydraulic components in line with workshop manuals and company procedures.
• Recondition and test units to a high standard suitable for sale.
• Maintain workshop equipment, tools and a clean, safe working environment.
• Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues where required.
• Assist with research and development of new products and processes.
• Accurately complete job cards, timesheets and related documentation, in line with health & safety and PPE requirements.
