Job summary

Euro Projects Recruitment - Engineering, Manufacturing & Technology is seeking a Hydraulics Technician in Leicestershire. This hands-on role focuses on hydraulics assembly, refurbishment and testing for premium automotive sectors.

You will inspect, rebuild and validate hydraulic units to high standards, maintain clean workshop practices, and provide technical support. Relevant automotive/engineering qualifications and experience with luxury marques are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Relevant automotive or engineering qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI or equivalent).
• Experience with prestige or luxury marques or classic vehicles is advantageous.
• Background in unit/parts assembly, refurbishment, or remanufacturing is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Strip, clean, inspect, measure, rebuild and test hydraulic components per manuals.
• Recondition and test units to a high standard for sale.
• Maintain workshop equipment and a clean, safe environment.
• Provide technical guidance to colleagues when needed.
• Assist with development of new products and processes.
• Complete job cards and timesheets in line with health and PPE requirements.

Your Background as a Hydraulics Technician

• A relevant automotive or engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, IMI or equivalent).
• Experience with prestige or luxury marques (Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin or similar), or knowledge of classic/older vehicles, would be advantageous.
• A background in unit/parts assembly, sub-assembly, refurbishment, reconditioning or remanufacturing would be advantageous.
• High attention to detail with a methodical, structured approach and confidence working to high standards.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions (full training will be provided).

Hydraulics Technician Responsibilities
