Job summary

Euro Projects Recruitment seeks a meticulous Hydraulics Technician in Leicestershire to support the assembly and testing of hydraulic components for prestige vehicles. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and precise workmanship, with advantage given to those with experience on luxury marques.

You will strip, inspect, measure, rebuild and test parts, maintain a clean workshop, and document work accurately while supporting R&D efforts. An on-site, hands-on position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Background as a Hydraulics Technician with automotive/engineering qualification.
• Experience with prestige or luxury marques advantageous.
• Background in unit/parts assembly or refurbishment advantageous.
• High attention to detail with a methodical, structured approach.
• Ability to work independently; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Strip, clean, inspect, measure, rebuild and test hydraulic components in line with workshop manuals and company procedures.
• Recondition and test units to a high standard suitable for sale.
• Maintain workshop equipment, tools and a clean, safe working environment.
• Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues where required.
• Assist with research and development of new products and processes.
• Accurately complete job cards, timesheets and related documentation, in line with health & safety and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Your Background as a Hydraulics Technician A relevant automotive or engineering qualification (e.g. NVQ, City & Guilds, IMI or equivalent).
• Experience with prestige or luxury marques (Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin or similar), or knowledge of classic/older vehicles, would be advantageous.
• A background in unit/parts assembly, sub-assembly, refurbishment, reconditioning or remanufacturing would be advantageous.
• High attention to detail with a methodical, structured approach and confidence working to high standards.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions (full training will be provided).
