Job summary

Workforce Staffing is seeking a Press Operator for a four-day week role in Alcester. The position runs Monday to Thursday, 6:30am–4:45pm (39 hours per week) with a pay rate of £13.20 per hour. You will prepare materials, operate press machinery, and ensure products meet quality standards.

Progression opportunities and uniform are offered on probation completion. Ideal candidates have manufacturing experience, understand health and safety requirements, and can work well in a team to meet

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience operating machinery or presses is advantageous.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
• Comfortable with manual handling tasks.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable and hardworking.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and meet production targets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials ready for production.
• Operate press machinery safely and efficiently.
• Unload finished products with care.
• Carry out mould changes as required.
• Finish products to the required standard.
• Pack products ready for collection.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures.
• Perform manual handling duties.
• Ensure production and productivity targets are met.
• Work to customer demand and production schedules.
