Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is recruiting an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a night-shift manufacturing team in Epping. You will set up and operate press brake machinery, produce sheet-metal components from engineering drawings and maintain quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will read drawings, measure parts to tolerance, select tooling, run routine checks and keep accurate production records while collaborating with supervisors and other teams.

Qualifications

Are you an experienced Press Brake Operator looking for a stable night-shift position within a busy manufacturing environment?

We are recruiting for an experienced operator to support sheet-metal production, producing accurate components to specification while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

The Role

• Set and operate press brake machinery
• Produce sheet-metal components from drawings
• Carry out machine set-up and adjustments
• Check dimensions and finished-component quality
• Work accurately to engineering drawings
• Select appropriate tooling
• Carry out routine machine checks
• Identify production or quality issues
• Maintain accurate production records
• Work closely with supervisors and wider manufacturing teams
• Maintain strong Health & Safety standards

What We’re Looking For

• Previous press brake operating experience
• Sheet-metal or fabrication background
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Strong measurement and inspection skills
• Good understanding of tolerances
• Reliable and quality-focused approach

Experience with Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic or similar CNC press brake equipment would be advantageous
