Job summary

Airedale by Modine in Leeds is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will bend and fold sheet metal to exact specifications, using press brake machinery and a variety of tooling.

You will perform quality checks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and collaborate with colleagues to meet production targets while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills for equipment issues.
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
• Familiarity with tooling techniques and metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with good communication.

Position Description

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in folding sheet metal components. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and machinery to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal according to specifications.
• Fold parts , ensuring accuracy and quality throughout the process.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet company standards.

Required Education & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
• Familiarity with tooling techniques and processes used in metal fabrication.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Day shift - 6am to 2.30pm Monday to Thursday and 6am to 11.40am Friday or Afternoon Shift Monday - Thursday 1.55pm - 9.55pm, Friday 11.15am- 6.55pm
