An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a well-established engineering business on a permanent basis, working 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 3pm finish on Friday, an hourly rate of £15.00 per hour along with regular overtime, ongoing training and development and free parking.

They specialise in providing a range of metal forming processes to meet their client’s needs, with state-of-the-art equipment, due to rapid growth they are looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to build and strengthen the team.

Press Brake Operator Duties:

• Setting and operating Press Brake Machines
• Batch work and one-off assignments
• Ability to understand technical drawings and apply technical information
• Inspecting and maintaining quality control before and after production
• Assisting in other areas when required

Press Brake Operator Experience:

• Experience of working in an engineering environment or similar
• Ability to read an interpret basic engineering drawings
• Operating Press Brakes in a leading or Assisting capacity
• Experience of driving a Counterbalance Fork Lift
• Knowledge of a variety of steel alloy grades

What is on offer to the Press Brake Operator:

• Paying £15.00 per hour dependant on experience
• Hours are Monday to Thursday 8.00-4.30pm & Friday 8.00am-3.00pm
