Job description

We are looking to welcome an experienced Press Brake Operator to our team, producing quality products to meet the exact demands of our valued customers. This is an exciting opportunity to further your career within a fast paced, innovative and dynamic organisation.

Location: Rotherham, Yorkshire

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, rotating shifts: 0600-1400, 1400-2200, 2200-0600

About the role

1. Pressing using the Brake Presses to produce customers’ orders on time and to the correct quality standard.
2. Setting up the machine - reading drawings, programming machine, tooling changes, etc.
3. Marking up pressed parts and packing.
4. Robot Programming.
5. Material Handling - manoeuvring of materials onto and off the press machines, either by crane or manually.

About you

1. Previous Press Brake operating and setting experience essential.
2. Ideally knowledge of Cybelec Software programming.
3. Ability to read, understand, and follow 1st and 3rd angle projection drawings.
4. Knowledge of working with different grades of metal.
5. Competent at using all forms of measuring equipment, i.e., Vernier, rulers, angle measuring devices.
6. A flexible approach to adapt to changing and challenging requirements.
7. Quality-focused with attention to detail.
8. Excellent communicator.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas.
