Daily Duties:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Heat Press Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for textile arts and a keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality embroidery on various materials. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where creativity and precision are paramount. If you have experience in warehouse settings and possess sewing skills, we would love to hear from you.

Shifts

Flexible – Able to work either a morning or an afternoon shift 06.00am – 2.00pm / 2.00pm – 10.00pm

Responsibilities

• Operate heat press machines to produce high-quality designs on garments and textiles.
• Supervise the team within that department.
• Prepare fabrics and materials for embroidery and heat-seal by ensuring they are clean, properly hooped, and aligned.
• Review design specifications and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Maintain and troubleshoot embroidery machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Keep the work area organised and clean, adhering to safety protocols.
• Assist in inventory management of threads, fabrics, and other supplies as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role is required.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
• Ability to operate machinery safely and effectively.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• A creative mindset with an understanding of design principles related to embroidery.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing production needs.
