Job summary

Helios Global Group in Alderley Edge (UK) is seeking a Presentation Designer to join our Studio team, translating ideas, data and information into polished PowerPoint outputs for client meetings and events.

You'll craft templates, data visualisations, and visuals using PowerPoint and Illustrator, collaborating across disciplines to deliver accurate, high‑quality work on deadline, while continually developing your design and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Creative and detail‑oriented designer with presentation design experience and PowerPoint expertise.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and familiarity with InDesign or similar tools is desirable.
• Strong data visualisation and high‑quality design capabilities.
• Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills.
• Graphic design qualification and experience in medical communications is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create, enhance and deliver high‑quality PowerPoint presentations and outputs, aligning with client briefs, branding guidelines and project goals.
• Restyle existing slide decks, develop templates, create data visualisations, and redraw figures/tables using PowerPoint and Illustrator.
• Contribute to interactive elements and animations to engage audiences with complex information.
• Collaborate across the Studio and translate briefs, contributing ideas and ensuring on‑time delivery to a high standard.
• Share knowledge, provide guidance on presentation design approaches, and invest in ongoing professional development.

About The Role

We’re looking for a talented Presentation Designer to join our Studio team and help bring ideas, data and information to life through engaging visual communications. In this role, you'll work on a wide variety of presentation-based projects (primarily PowerPoint), transforming content into polished, accurate and impactful deliverables that support client communications, meetings and events.

What You'll Do

You’ll create, enhance and deliver high-quality PowerPoint presentations and other presentation outputs, ensuring they align with client briefs, branding guidelines and project objectives. This will include restyling existing slide decks, developing presentation templates, creating data visualisations, and redrawing figures and tables using PowerPoint and Adobe Illustrator. You’ll also contribute to the design of interactive elements and animations to help audiences engage with complex information more effectively. Working closely with colleagues across the business and applying visual communication trends and best practice, you’ll translate project briefs, contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions and collaborate with the wider Studio team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard. You’ll also contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing knowledge with colleagues, providing guidance on presentation design approaches and investing in your own professional development to expand your creative and technical skillset.

About You

You’re a creative and detail-oriented designer with previous experience in presentation design, specifically PowerPoint. You demonstrate a passion for transforming complex information into clear, engaging and visually appealing content. Experience with Adobe Illustrator and other design tools (eg InDesign) is highly desirable, and any exposure to interactive presentation programs or new technologies/platforms would be beneficial. You bring excellent design and data visualisation skills, alongside strong organisational, communication and time-management abilities. You enjoy collaborating with others, managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality work to deadline. A graphic design qualification, prior medical communications agency experience and project management experience would be advantageous, but above all we’re looking for someone who combines creativity, accuracy and a genuine enthusiasm for visual storytelling.
