Leigh Academy Cherry Orchard invites applications for a Teaching Assistant to support classes in our Preschool. The role focuses on assisting teachers to deliver high-quality learning with professionalism, fostering a positive ethos and strong behaviour expectations.

The position is fixed-term until July 2027 and runs 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, during term time plus 1 inset week. Located in Ebbsfleet Garden City, the academy prides itself on inclusive education and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification.
• Recent experience with SEN students in an educational setting.
• Commitment to being a positive role model and contributing to the school's ethos.

Responsabilités

• Support teachers to deliver academic excellence with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Encourage positive behaviour and act as a positive role model for students.
• Work collaboratively with children and colleagues to support learning.
