Job description
Our client is an international and leading provider of business support systems (BSS) within the telecoms industry, with more than 20 years’ experience.
We are looking for a Presales Consultant with a background in telecoms to work with our Sales Executives and Account Managers across all aspects of the sales cycle, focusing on the client’s full digital BSS stack (all products and services).

This role will include:
- Delivering presentations and writing responses to customer requests.
- Providing technical consultancy and product knowledge to customers through effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Supporting the Sales Team with customer-facing technical pre-sales assistance.
- Designing, describing, and managing the solution engineering of products.
- Understanding customer requirements and articulating the value propositions and benefits to develop a compelling bid.
- Supporting and implementing the launch of new products and ensuring a smooth handover to the Delivery teams.
Hybrid working arrangement: 2 days in the office and 3 days at home. The client’s office is located in Central London.

Requirements
- Background in telecoms, specifically in BSS areas such as billing, CRM, charging, subscription management, CPQ, service activation, provisioning, product catalog, revenue assurance, etc.
- Knowledge and experience with real-time / convergent charging environments (pre-paid and postpaid solutions).
- Experience with Communications Service Providers (CSP) in customer care and billing business analysis consulting.
- Ability to engage in all aspects of long sales engagements and prepare commercial proposals.
- Excellent communication skills for managing bids, making proposals, and system demonstrations.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally when required.
