Qualifications

• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician/Prep Technician required.
• Formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI's) on new and used vehicles.
• Ensure PDI's are completed to manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain high productivity while delivering exceptional customer service.

Vertu Ford Gloucester

Join our team at Vertu Ford Gloucester and become a valued Prep Technician.

We are offering a basic salary between £28,000 - £35,000 depending on skills and experience. This is based on a 40 hour working week and Saturdays paid as overtime and an additional over-performance bonus opportunity.

We're also offering a £2000 sign-on bonus. You'll receive £1000 when you join us and an additional £1000 in month 13 of your employment.

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty. As a Prep Technician you will be responsible for carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDI's) on new and used vehicles. You will ensure the PDI's are carried out to the highest possible standard and within manufacturer guidelines. You will need to work to agreed time frames, and maintain a high level of productivity, whilst ensuring exceptional customer service at all times. Quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes are core values that guide everything we do.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or NVQ Level 3
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician/ Prep Technician
• Your own set of tools
• A full UK driving licence
