Norwich High School for Girls – GDST in Norwich, Norfolk is hiring a Learning Support Assistant for 11 hours per week during term time. The role is fixed-term and aligned with Local Authority funding, with mornings likely to be required. The post sits on the Support Staff Grade 3 scale.

You will support a Year 4 pupil with an Education and Health Care Plan, mostly in Maths and English, and you will plan and deliver targeted learning interventions in collaboration with the SENDCo.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting pupils with learning difficulties and ASC is advantageous.
• Ability to adapt teaching to diverse learning needs.

Responsabilités

• Provide in-class support for a Year 4 pupil in Maths and English.
• Deliver 1:1 sessions for motor skills, self-esteem and memory strengthening.
• Plan and monitor targeted interventions with the SENDCo.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to track progress and outcomes.
