Job summary

Norwich High School for Girls - GDST is seeking a part-time Learning Support Assistant (11 hours per week, term time) to support a Year 4 pupil with an Education and Health Care Plan. The role involves maths and English support, 1:1 sessions for motor and memory work, and collaboration with the SENDCo and staff to monitor progress.

The post is fixed-term, subject to Local Authority funding, with mornings likely. Grade 3 on the GDST scale, salary £27,987–£31,644 pro rata.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in educational settings.
• Ability to support maths and English learning using varied teaching approaches.
• Experience delivering 1:1 interventions to develop memory and motor skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support for a Year 4 student in Maths and English.
