Job summary

Kingswood is seeking a well-qualified and experienced teacher to join the Learning Support Department at our Prep School for the 2026/27 academic year, supporting pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties (dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, ASD or ADHD) to reach their full academic potential.

The role is part-time for three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) with a competitive benefits package and a strong safeguarding commitment.

Qualifications

• Qualification in teaching pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties (Level 5).
• Relevant experience in Learning Support.
• Postgraduate SpLD Level 7 qualification advantageous for access arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties (dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, ASD or ADHD) to reach their full academic potential.
• Work within the Learning Support Department in the Prep School to provide targeted assistance.

For the 2026-2027 academic year, we are looking to appoint a well-qualified and experienced teacher to work in the Learning Support Department at our Prep School, supporting pupils with a range of Specific Learning Difficulties such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, ASD or ADHD, to ensure that they are able to reach their full academic potential.

The successful candidate must have a qualification in teaching pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties (Level 5) as well as relevant experience. In addition, a postgraduate SpLD Level 7 qualification or equivalent which allows them to assess for access arrangements, would be an advantage.
