Job summary

Loungers plc is seeking a Prep Chef to join our busy kitchen team at Head Office. You’ll manage deliveries, prep, stock, and set up the kitchen for service from 9am, with a focus on quality, consistency, and food safety.

This role offers up to £12.71 per hour plus tips, paid breaks, staff meals, and 50% off food and drinks from day one, with opportunities for development across Lounges sites.

Qualifications

• Kitchen or catering experience required.
• Must be local to site for early start.
• Strong teamwork and communication.
• Commitment to quality and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage morning deliveries and invoices.
• Store, label, and rotate stock.
• Coordinate with Head/Sous Chefs on stock and ordering.
• Maintain clean walk-in, fridges, freezers and dry stores to Food Safety standards.
• Assist with breakfast/brunch service and prep.
• Complete morning food safety checks and temperature logs.
