Job summary

Cosy Club York is hiring Preparation Chefs to join a vibrant hospitality team. The role runs from 7am to 3pm, with duties centered on preparation and storeroom management to ready the kitchen for service each day.

You should live locally to reach sites for an early start, and you’ll contribute to a well-organised kitchen that supports the day’s service and team success.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or catering management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage storeroom and prep areas to prepare kitchen for service.
• Set up kitchen by 9am and ensure prep in line with prep and par.
• Assist in batch cooking and support the team for a smooth day.

Preparation and Storeroom Chef: 7am to 3pm

As the morning Prep and Storeroom Chef you will be in charge of the store room, delivers and readying the kitchen for the day ahead. You will be at the heart of our kitchen operation so living locally to be able to get to our sites for an early start is pretty key.

This role would suit someone with kitchen or catering management experience as the role comes with responsibilities of setting up the kitchen by 9am service, completing prep (in line with prep and par), batch cooking and supporting the team to set them up for success for the day and the ones to follow.
