Smith & Brock Ltd is launching Bespoke by Smith & Brock, a premium food production venture. The Prep Assistant role supports day-to-day kitchen operations and food preparation within a growing business, collaborating with a small, dedicated team to uphold high standards.

You will work in a hands-on environment, focusing on cleanliness, organisation and safety while adapting to daily tasks and shifts. Training and progression opportunities accompany a supportive, family-run culture.

Responsabilidades

• Support chefs and kitchen team with food preparation and daily tasks.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organisation in the kitchen.
• Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and ingredient organisation.
• Assist with kitchen setup, packing and general operational duties.
• Follow food safety and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Be flexible and proactive in supporting the team as the business grows.

The Role: PrepAssistant

As a PrepAssistant, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen. This is a hands-on role within a growing business, where no two days are the same. Alongside supporting food preparation and kitchen operations, you'll work closely with the wider team to help maintain the high standards expected within a premium food production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting chefs and the kitchen team with food preparation and daily tasks
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation throughout the kitchen
• Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Supporting with deliveries, stock rotation, and ingredient organisation
• Assisting with kitchen setup, packing, and general operational duties
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures at all times
• Being flexible and proactive in supporting the team as the business grows
