Job summary

Soho House is seeking a dedicated Laundry Assistant to support the housekeeping team in maintaining high standards for linen, towels, uniforms, and guest items. You will operate laundry equipment, sort and process items, and ensure efficient daily operations within the laundry area.

Responsibilities include washing, drying, pressing, inspecting for stains, and maintaining stock levels while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Experience handling guest laundry and dry-cleaning requests is preferred.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, press and fold linen, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry.
• Operate laundry machinery (washers, dryers, irons, presses) safely and efficiently.
• Inspect items for stains or damage and report them.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry room.
• Follow procedures for guest laundry and dry-cleaning requests.
• Monitor stock of clean linen and uniforms and distribute accordingly.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock control of laundry supplies.
