Job summary

Hale Country Club & Spa is seeking an energetic Gym Instructor to join our fitness team. You will guide members through their fitness journey with expert coaching, delivering exceptional service and a motivating club experience.

You should have previous gym or PT experience, strong communication, and the ability to run group inductions and tailor exercise programmes. We offer ongoing training, a Level 3 PT pathway where applicable, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Gym Instructor within a fitness environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prescribe and deliver tailored exercise programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support members through a structured 4-week journey, helping build confidence and results.
• Motivate and coach members during gym sessions and activities.
• Deliver outstanding member experiences with ongoing support and fitness guidance.
• Build relationships with members to grow class attendance and engagement.
• Deliver personalised club inductions for small groups (up to 4 members).
• Maintain a proactive presence on the gym floor with guidance on exercises and equipment use.
• Oversee daily gym floor operations, equipment checks and health & safety compliance.
• Handle member enquiries and feedback professionally.
