Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Painting and Fabric Shift Technician to maintain a premium environment with a perfect finish. You’ll be the custodian of quality, delivering high-end decorating refreshes while upholding fire safety and building fabric standards.

You’ll work in a fast-paced shift, handle carpentry, drywall, and fabric condition tasks, and supervise contractors where needed. This role rewards proactive problem-solvers who take pride in detail and safety.

Qualifications

Solid background in painting, decorating and carpentry.
Working knowledge of fire safety standards and compliance.
Reliable, adaptable and capable of managing workload independently during shifts.
Strong people skills for client and subcontractor interactions.
Proactive about noticing and fixing issues without prompting.

Responsibilities

Maintain interior integrity of the building, including carpentry, raised flooring and ceiling tile replacements.
Lead on decorative works: drywall finishes, sealant application and painting refreshes.
Manage fire safety inspections and RAMS/work permits; supervise specialist contractors for major projects.
Conduct fabric condition surveys to identify hazards and defects.
Mount whiteboards, shelving and assemble custom furniture; maintain ironmongery.
Ensure site safety and protection of premium environments.
