Job summary

The Rowan Schools, part of Mersey View Learning Trust, is seeking a Premises Manager to oversee the management of the school premises across a designated multi-school site.

You will be responsible for health and safety, security, maintenance and cleaning, including building upkeep and equipment, with line management of premises staff and oversight of external contractors to ensure safe, well-maintained environments for pupils and staff. The role requires a committed and experienced candidate.

We are looking for a committed and experienced Premises Manager to take responsibility for the effective management of our school premises across a designated multi-school site.

The role will be responsible for:

• Health and safety, security, maintenance and cleaning, including building maintenance and the cleanliness and maintenance of furnishings, fixtures, plant and heavy equipment.
• Line management of premises staff, including their deployment across other sites and performance management.
• Oversight of external contractors working across the designated multi-school site premises.

This is an important role in ensuring our school environments are safe, secure, well maintained and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors.
