A leading independent school in Ashtead is seeking a Premises Manager to oversee the maintenance and administration of facilities, including a Grade II* listed manor house. Freemen’s is looking for a Premises Manager to join our Operations Department. Reporting to the Director of Estates and Operations, the Premises Manager will be responsible for the maintenance, management, and administration of the School’s services and facilities, with a focus on quality service delivery and best practices.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Premises Manager to join the Operations Team as soon as possible.
The role involves managing a team of four staff, requiring strong leadership and prioritization skills. Recognised qualifications in building maintenance and health and safety are essential, along with a good understanding of maintenance issues related to listed buildings and experience managing budgets.
The successful candidate will join a diverse Operations team, including Maintenance, Grounds, and Commercial departments, with contracted services for Catering and Soft Services.
The Freemen’s estate at Ashtead Park features a variety of facilities, including a Grade II* listed manor house, recital hall, theatre, 57 acres of grounds, and sporting facilities.
This is a full-time, year-round position with 37.5 hours per week. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for school events and on-call duties is required.
Salary: £47,080 to £53,850 per annum, depending on experience.
