Job summary

Aston Villa Football Club Limited is hiring Grounds Persons for Bodymoor Heath Training Ground and Villa Park. The role supports the day-to-day operations, performing grass cutting, markings, reseeding, aeration, fertilising and verti-cutting in line with health and safety guidelines.

You will maintain records, ensure tools/equipment are stored safely, and assist the wider Estates team. Flexibility for training sessions and matchdays is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Diploma Level 2 in Horticulture/Sports Turf or equivalent.
• Experience in grounds maintenance on professional pitches.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Grass cutting, marking out, reseeding, aerating, fertilising and verti-cutting.
• Maintain accurate internal records and safe storage of tools/equipment.
• Support wider Estates team as required.
• Work outside in varying weather conditions as part of day-to-day duties.
