Job summary

Walker Dendle Technical is seeking a Senior Structural Conservation Engineer to join its growing Heritage/Conservation team in Central London. You will be near or recently Chartered with IStructE and/or ICE, holding an MEng/MSc in Historical Structures or equivalent, and pursuingCARE accreditation.

A strong portfolio of UK heritage projects and solid design and project-running skills are essential. With London’s historic estates, theatres, churches and cathedrals serving as current workload, the

• Chartered member of IStructE and/or ICE or nearing chartership.
• MEng/MSc in Historical Structures (or equivalent).
• Experience in UK consultancy with heritage/conservation projects.
• Ability to drive accreditation process with CARE.

• Contribute to portfolio with historic estates, theatres, churches, cathedrals across London and shires.

Job description

Premier Central London consultancy requires a Senior Structural Conservation Engineer to join the expanding Heritage/Conservation team.

Candidates will need to be a near or recently Chartered member of IStructE and/or ICE, be educated to MEng/MSc in Historical Structures (or Equiv) and be looking to gain accreditation with CARE. They should have gained good design and project-running skills in UK consultancy and will have a portfolio of previous projects within the field and be looking to drive their career forward within a dynamic environment.

Current workload includes projects on several of London’s historic estates as well as theatres, churches, cathedrals and other historic buildings across London and the shires.
