Job summary

Walker Dendle Technical is seeking an experienced façade engineer with strong design and project-running capabilities for UK projects.

You will manage UK and international schemes, work with top architects and ensure delivery to high standards, reporting to the Associate-Director Facade Team Leader. A clear path to chartered status is available through IStructE/ICE/CIBSE/SFE.

Qualifications

• MEng or MSc in a relevant engineering field.
• Graduate or Chartered member of IStructE, ICE, CIBSE or SFE.

Responsibilities

• Lead and run UK/international facade projects.
• Report to the Associate-Director Facade Team Leader.
• Collaborate with architects on high-profile projects.

Job description

Candidates will need to have good façade engineering design and project-running experience working in the UK for another recognised façade engineering consultancy or contractor. They should be educated to MEng/MSc-level and be looking to drive their career forward with a young dynamic premier brand. They should be a solid project-runner reporting in to the Associate-Director Facade Team Leader. Furthermore, they should be a Graduate or just-chartered member of IStructE, ICE, CIBSE or SFE.

Current workload is a mixture of UK and international projects with top Architects and project values up to £100million. Many of the consultancies' previous projects have been award-winning with both IStructE and RIBA and they continue to work on some of the world’s most challenging projects.
