Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group in the East Midlands is seeking an Assistant Preconstruction Manager or Preconstruction Manager to join an experienced team. You will shape early project development by working with estimating, commercial, planning, engineering and operations to craft competitive tenders and practical construction solutions.

The role covers supporting preconstruction from tender enquiry to contract award and handover to delivery teams, ensuring seamless transition and value engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, highways or earthworks.
• Experience in preconstruction, project engineering, site engineering or site agent roles.
• Strong technical understanding of civil engineering construction methods and project delivery.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Candidates with a site engineering or site agent background who want to move into preconstruction will be considered.

Our client is looking for an Assistant Preconstruction Manager or preconstruction manager to join their experienced team in the East Midlands

You will play an important role in the early stages of project development, working closely with the estimating, commercial, planning, engineering and operational teams to develop competitive tenders and practical construction solutions

• Good technical understanding of civil engineering construction methods and project delivery.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams.
