Fawkes & Reece London is seeking an Assistant Preconstruction Manager/Preconstruction Manager to join their team in the United Kingdom. You will work closely with estimating, commercial, planning, engineering and delivery teams to develop competitive tenders and practical construction solutions.

The role involves supporting preconstruction activities from tender enquiry through to contract award and handover to delivery teams, with progression into a lead preconstruction role for suitable

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, highways or earthworks.
• Experience in preconstruction, project engineering, site engineering or site agent positions.
• Strong technical understanding of civil engineering construction methods and project delivery.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills across teams.
• Candidates from site engineering/site agent backgrounds may move to preconstruction.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the preconstruction process across civil engineering, highways, infrastructure and earthworks projects.
• Review tender documentation, drawings, specifications and client requirements to develop competitive and deliverable proposals.
• Identify project risks, opportunities and value engineering during the tender process.

Our client is looking for an Assistant Preconstruction Manager or preconstruction manager to join their experienced team in the East Midlands

You will play an important role in the early stages of project development, working closely with the estimating, commercial, planning, engineering and operational teams to develop competitive tenders and practical construction solutions

The role will involve supporting and managing preconstruction activities from initial tender enquiry through to contract award and handover to the delivery teams.

• Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams.
