Job summary

Addepar, Inc. is seeking a Precompute Platform Lead to own and scale the precompute layer, delivering sub-second latency for enterprise clients. You will guide architecture, drive performance, and partner with Product and Engineering to meet aggressive KPIs and global deployment needs.

The role requires leading global teams, implementing vectorised data workflows, and integrating governance into data creation processes while expanding the platform’s reach across regions.

Qualifications

• Cross-team influence; drive architectural decisions across boundaries.
• Familiarity with data publisher responsibilities and data health indicators.
• Advanced degree in Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong cloud data infrastructure background: AWS, Databricks, Kubernetes.
• Extensive background in software engineering or data platform roles with performance engineering at scale.
• Experience leading global, distributed engineering teams through production system transformation.
• Hands-on engineering leadership with vector-based data processing.

Responsibilities

• Own the precompute platform roadmap with Product and engineering leadership.
• Architect, implement, and maintain scalable precompute solutions.
• Drive integration with core compute infra and regional expansion across deployments.
• Advance vectorisation of calculation layer for throughput improvements.
• Foster team efficiency and collaboration with operational partners.
• Incorporate Data Publisher Responsibilities to ensure Data Health.
