Job summary

Addepar in the United Kingdom seeks a Precompute Platform Lead to own and scale the precompute layer, delivering near real-time analytics for enterprise wealth management. The role focuses on performance, concurrency, and scalable architecture across regional deployments.

You will lead vectorised data processing initiatives, integrate with core compute infrastructure, and align with Product and Engineering to meet aggressive KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, or a numerate field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Extensive background in software engineering or data platform roles with large-scale, high-concurrency systems.
• Hands-on engineering leadership with vector-based data processing.

Responsibilities

• Own the precompute platform roadmap with Product and Engineering leadership, defining performance KPIs for daily/incremental processing and query latency.
• Architect and implement solutions to solve complex problems; reduce complexity via data architecture and workflows.
• Drive integration with core compute infrastructure and expand precompute traffic share.
• Scale architecture across Addepar's multi-region deployment.
• Advance vectorisation of calculations by moving from row-by-row to the columnar engine for throughput gains.
