Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking a skilled Machinist to produce precision-engineered parts from blank materials using horizontal/vertical borers, lathes, milling and grinding machines. You will interpret drawings, ensure tolerances, and maintain safety and efficiency while meeting deadlines.

Applicants should have NVQ3 in Machining (or ONC Engineering) and extensive experience with centre lathes and allied equipment, with relocation assistance possibly available in the Grimsby area.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ3 in Machining, ONC Engineering or equivalent.
• Highly experienced in use of Horizontal/Vertical Borers/Centre Lathes.
• Create precision-engineered parts from blank metal or plastic/composite materials.
• Interpret technical drawings and produce parts to tolerances.
• Adhere to safety requirements and safety checks of tools and equipment.
• Produce jobs within allocated timescales.
• Actively promote Core Values within all work-based activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and use horizontal and vertical boring machines; (desirable).
• Prepare and use lathes for turning operation.
• Prepare and use milling machines.
• Prepare and use grinding machines.
• Ensure products are manufactured to tolerances required on technical drawings.
• Apply screw-cutting techniques and interpret drawings.
• Produce jobs within allocated timescales.
