Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for Wax Production Operatives to join a global manufacturing business in Exeter. You'll work in a precision-focused environment, producing high-quality components for aerospace, with full training provided.

Shifts are 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, Monday to Friday, at £15.93 per hour plus overtime. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity with on-site parking and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and a careful approach to work.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to handle small components accurately.
• Comfortable carrying out detailed manual tasks for extended periods.
• Good basic English skills, with the ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous manufacturing, production or assembly experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and complete full training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed manual production tasks using hand tools.
• Handle components carefully to maintain quality standards.
• Follow manufacturing processes and work instructions accurately.
• Complete quality checks to ensure components meet required standards.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety.
• Keep the working area clean, organised and compliant with site requirements.
