Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for Production Operatives on the outskirts of Bridgwater, with a day shift 8:00–16:30 (finish 13:00 on Fridays) and immediate start. The role involves operating extrusion machinery, loading powders, and carrying out quality checks in a clean, modern facility.

This temporary-to-permanent position offers training, overtime opportunities after training, and the potential for permanent employment after probation; weekend work is not required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production or machine operating environment is beneficial but not essential.
• Comfortable working with powders and high temperature equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to changing priorities.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a market-leading manufacturer supplying precision components for the aerospace industry, for Production Operatives on the outskirts of Bridgwater. You will support the production of high-specification aerospace products in a clean and modern facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion machinery to produce plastic tubes
• Load and handle raw plastic powders/materials
• Monitor ovens and heating processes
• Ensure correct temperature and production settings
• Carry out quality checks on finished products
• Follow strict health & safety procedures
