Key Appointments in Elland, West Yorkshire is seeking a Warehouse and Lab Technician to support a specialist chemical business. You will prepare and dispatch chemical samples, following client requirements and working closely with a small team.

The role combines warehouse duties, sample preparation and administration, with customer service and adherence to COSHH and health and safety guidelines. A well-organised, detail-focused candidate will excel.

Qualifications

• A good standard of English and maths.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Confidence using computers and IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Repacking and decanting chemical samples.
• Locating products in the warehouse and selecting items for orders.
• Processing sample requests using the IT system.
• Generating delivery paperwork.
• Creating and printing product labels.
• Following client instructions and sampling requirements.
• Complying with COSHH and health and safety guidelines.
• Returning unused samples and stock to correct locations.
• Liaising with Client Administrators and Stock Controller.
• Communicating with couriers and handling enquiries.
