Probe UK Limited is seeking an experienced Toolmaker / Tooling Engineer in Derbyshire. The role covers manufacture, assembly, maintenance and modification of specialist tooling, working closely with engineering and development teams.

Key duties include operating milling machines, lathes, spark erosion and precision surface grinders, interpreting tooling drawings, and supporting tooling manufacture with 2D AutoCAD. You will join a small, skilled toolmaking team with opportunities for progression.

Formación

• Interpreting complex tooling drawings and translating into finished components and tools.
• Manufacturing, assembling and finishing tools to high accuracy and quality standards.
• Experience using 2D AutoCAD to support tooling manufacture and modifications.

Responsabilidades

• Operate milling machines, lathes, spark erosion equipment and precision surface grinders.
• Interpret drawings and convert them into final tooling and components.
• Program and operate FANUC-controlled wire EDM, CNC equipment, EDM die sinking and CNC spark drilling machinery.
• Collaborate with engineering and development teams during trials and testing.
