A leading recruitment agency seeks an experienced Precision Tool Fitter for their expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the mechanical assembly and testing of tool units used for producing foil caps. This role requires precision engineering experience and involves working with bespoke capping and sealing equipment.
My client have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Precision Tool Fitter to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will take great pride in their work and be responsible for mechanical assembly, testing and acceptance of tool units that produce foil caps at rates of up to 750 per minute. Typically, a tool unit will take around one week to complete and the fitter builds and tests the complete unit from start to finish. The units are incorporated in our range of bespoke capping and sealing equipment which are sold worldwide. The average tool unit will be used for up to 75 million punches in its lifetime before reconditioning.
The ideal candidate would have press tooling or precision engineering experience combined with excellent machining and hand fitting skills.
