Job description

The Role: Working for a leading Tool and Lifting Hire company, you will be working as a Lifting Service Engineer / Fitter – workshop based. The ideal candidate will have previous engineering experience working on a range of Lifting products and Tools, including Genie Super Lifts, Block & Tackle etc, maintaining and repairing this modern fleet. As part of the role you will also be expected to assist within the depot as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. PDI’s, servicing and repairing tool & Lifting hire equipment
  2. Working effectively in a small team
  3. Maintain and exceed workshop targets and efficiency
  4. Work well under pressure
  5. Maintain health & safety to HSE and company standards
Skills:
  1. Previous experience in one or more of the following roles: Service Engineer, Tool Fitter, Hire Technician, Test & Run, Lifting Fitter
  2. You will need previous experience repairing and servicing lifting hire equipment
  3. Analytical approach to problem solving
  4. Able to work without instruction
